What Stays and what Fades Away

Woot, first Wings of Fire fanart! And it's a friggin couple picture. XD
I definitely had other plans for what I wanna draw as fanart for this series, but then I read the Darkstalker book and realized that this song fits really well for Darkstalker and Clearsight. A lot of the lines just seem to work for both of them, though I mostly saw it from Clearsight's perspective. I also prefer this version of the song www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdK3We… it has a higher pitch which I think works better for Clearsight's voice (some of the lyrics in that video are wrong though so that's why I put up the original version first).

It was interesting designing both of them, mostly because I like to stick to description but at the same time I think it's a real shame Darkstalker's IceWing heritage isn't showing really. I mostly took inspiration from the book cover for him, different style of twisted horns though mostly cause I couldn't figure out how to draw the other ones. And also dark blue eyes because why not, might be an IceWing thing and it works with the song.
Clearsight was also tricky, I wanted her to have a black-blue shade, but not so blue she could be mistaken with Whiteout, which might still happen... Oh well.

Some probably figured it out already, the background represents all the possible futures.
