Story - Age of Chaos: Arceus thought he could begin to give life to his world, but he was wrong, for the world was void of energy. Thus he created the three birds of chaos, one of flames, one of ice, and one of storms. So began the Age of Chaos. The three fought each other, ice, lightning, and fire, constantly reshaping the world in their seemingly endless war. After many, many years the world itself could not be described as anything but chaos, brimming with it's powerful energy. With that the Age of Chaos came to an end, and its three lords have gone to rest within the depths of the planet. Yet before they went underground, each of them flew high into the sky and with one mighty flap of their wings several feathers fell out. These feathers were later to become the descendants of the three Lords of Chaos, the legendaries, Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos.

Story - Icewing: For many centuries he had waged war with the other two lords. To all of them these wars were in truth nothing but mere games, conquest was not truly their intent. Like the other two, Icewing hid deep beneath the earth, forming his cave of eternal ice, and he slept. He slept for a long time. Then he awoke. And he couldn't sleep anymore.
The long slumber wouldn't overcome him again. So he stayed awake, in his icy cavern, deep in the pitch black underground. He knew the others had awoken too, he could feel it, but there was no way of making contact.
How much time passed as he sat there alone in the darkness is unknown even to him. Millennia, more perhaps. He didn't care anymore. Over the years he developed the ability to create windows with which he could watch what was happening on the planet's surface. He wasn't really satisfied with what he saw. The planet was alive, but it didn't seem nearly as powerful as it was in his days. Not to mention that the coldest temperatures people were whining about were no way near what his presence alone could create. If he would return he could easily freeze the planet in a few short hours. But alas, those days were over, lost to the world through time.
Yet he still can't help it but think that perhaps the times were better when chaos still ruled the world...



Extra:
- Icewing is notably bigger than normal Articuno.
- Due to him being the ancient, the first of his kin, he is a pure ice type.
- His feathers used to be crystal clear once. But that darkness tends to do things to you.
- The other lords didn't change their appearance because fire and electricity could keep away the darkness.
- Despite his more dark form Icewing's personality hasn't changed all too much. Al least most of it.
- He is not evil... He just has questionable motives.
- He can control his icy aura, otherwise everything and everyone would freeze miles around him.
- His attacks can cause the Frostbite status. It works like paralysis and burn at the same time.
- He has a human form.
- The other lords tend to call him Icicle.
- The ice in Icewing's cave is called Eternal Ice and it's black.




..... Quite a lot of stuff for a random character. XP
 
So, yeah, wanted to draw a creepy Articuno and got the story as a bonus. Not sure where I'm going with it though.
